Winter

So apparently it is officially winter in Malta. Locals have long been in coats, jeans and winter boots. I personally am still in t-shirts most days. Sunday was the equivalent of a British summers day with a high of 21 degrees… A bit of wind and on the water front and I did actually see two men with hats on! We spent this ‘winter’s’ day wandering around Birgu – one of the 3 cities. Beautiful buildings, more rock, more forts…

This is my first post and I didn’t want it to be a negative one but I’ve had such a bad morning I’m afraid it is. Traffic. Traffic. Traffic. Seriously the traffic in Malta is insane. Some days it feels like all I do is creep along in traffic moving about 1km round the island.
